Learn the process. Protect your capital.

REX TRADING SIGNAL

Country risk, intervention and liquidity

A price quote is only useful when you can execute and settle the trade.

Political events, restrictions on capital flows, holidays and intervention can affect currency pricing and access. Liquidity varies across markets and time. A quoted price for a small order does not establish the price available for a much larger one.

Read the contract’s trading hours and exceptional-market provisions. Keep enough margin for adverse movement without assuming your stop will fill exactly. When liquidity deteriorates, using less size or staying out can be a process decision rather than a directional opinion.

Worked example

A pair can reopen beyond a Friday stop after a weekend event. The executed exit depends on available prices and order terms.

Check your understanding

What does a wider spread change besides the apparent quote?

Show explanation

It increases the cost of entering and exiting and can affect order triggers and the risk calculation.
