Before risking money, be able to explain your instrument, costs, position sizing and worst plausible execution conditions. Keep a written rule set, a journal and a procedure for pausing after operational failures. Know how to contact the broker and verify its legal identity.
Review a meaningful sample of decisions without changing rules after every loss. Decide in advance how much capital you can afford to lose and what would make you stop. A course or quiz cannot certify that a strategy is profitable or that live trading is suitable for you.
Worked example
A completed checklist could include: product specification read, sizing calculation checked, order-entry rehearsed, data backed up and a maximum loss budget documented.
Check your understanding
What should passing a quiz change about your position size?
Show explanation
Nothing by itself. A quiz tests knowledge; position size follows your risk plan and evidence, not a badge.
